What is a Patent medicine?

In China, this name refferres to standard herbal mixtures of the traditional Chinese medicine (in the form of concentrated tablets), the composition of which was accrued over the centuries on the basis of long-term experiences of ancient Chinese doctors. Their effect has been known for a long time and tested on a huge sample of the population. At the same time, these herbal mixtures (some of their names) are protected by a trade mark, whose sole owner is the TCM Herbs^® company.  These herbal mixture tablets are often combined between themselves to achieve a better effect. They are typically used in a dose of 3 x 4 tbl per day.

Each batch of herbal tablets and beverages is tested at an accredited laboratory, the Phytax Laboratory in the Swiss Schlieren, to identify herbs, heavy metals (mercury, cadmium, lead, arsenic, and copper), bacteria (e. coli, salmonella, the total number of bacteria), mold, yeasts and aflatoxins. All herbal tablets and drinks from our TCM Herbs^® company are the only in the Czech Republic with each batch of herbs tested, among other things, on 511 species of pesticides (4 groups), since pesticides are becoming a global problem these days, especially for products from the so-called third world. It often happens that customers, in the belief that they are using herbal preparations, are, by contrast, “contaminated” with other undesirable “chemicals”. Herbs in our tablets are not ionized and herbal tablets do not contain any chemical preservatives, and (as the only connective fabric is used the natural micro-crystalline cellulose in up to 1%) nor gluten or aristolochic acid.
