Child types according to TCM

According to Chinese medicine (and according to yin and yang philosophy), there are 5 basic child types:

Due to the yin deficiency, these children are constantly in a state of so-called RE XU false heat, mainly in the kidneys, stomach and lungs, i.e. they are sort of overheated, hot-blooded, restless, are unable to sit still for long periods, talk quickly, have difficulty concentrating, are unfocused, never bring the started business to the end, throw off the blanket at night, sweat at night, often grind their teeth, sleep poorly, have vivid dreams, sometimes talk and walk in their sleep, have slightly reddened cheeks, bright red dry lips, like sweets, fried, meat, ice cream and cold drinks, when sick they have a high temperature with a rapid onset, when having a fever they have convulsions, sometimes they also have dry eczema, allergies or asthma.

Due to the excess of yang, these children are in a state of so-called full RE heat, which is often associated with SHI/RE dampness or RE DU hot toxin. The stomach, spleen, liver, lungs and blood are mainly affected. The children display excessive, unceasing energy, they are constantly active all day long, but even at night it is difficult for them to fall asleep, they need little sleep, regenerate quickly, it takes them little to rest and immediately the engine runs at full speed again… they are so called little workaholics, they are interested in everything and they won’t miss a thing. They are often thirsty for cold drinks, eat everything and quickly, alternate constipation with diarrhoea, have deep red cheeks, often with eczema, suffer from asthma, allergies, otitis media, enlarged tonsils, enlarged cervical lymph nodes, congestion (rhinitis, cough, ears) with yellow thick mucus, headaches or food allergies.

  1. BALANCED AND HARMONIOUS YIN/YANG TYPE YIN/YANG

Perfect campfire

These children are a prototype of a healthy individual and we can only congratulate their happy parents. You can read about how the most common childhood illnesses and problems can be treated, such as recurrent respiratory diseases, otitis media, tonsillitis, flu and viruses, eczema, asthma, allergies, bedwetting, digestive problems, etc., in the following chapters for each problem. One of the most common problems in children nowadays is the fact that more and more children have, from the Chinese medicine point of view, a kind of “persistent hot toxin in the blood” RE DU, which is then also a common cause of various recurrent and chronic diseases.

A so called universal natural cleansing antibiotic (our ancestors would say that it “cleanses the blood”), and not only in children, is an herbal mixture Shade of Brocate Veil (code 012) or Birth of the Phoenix (code 009), which, so to say, removes and purifies the heat from the three hearths and excretes the hot toxin from the blood. Often it is necessary to start treatment and overall cleansing of the body with this herbal mixture.

In case of doubt with the choice of herbal products, we recommend TCM Test Tongue Analysis, which is evaluated by MUDr. Petr Hoffmann and you will receive a recommendation (herbal products and foods) to your e-mail within 3 days.
